Thomas Buergenthal in conversation with Kirsty Lang

Thomas Buergenthal is a leading advocate of international human rights law and for the last eight years a judge at the United Nations’ International Court of Justice in the Hague. In his recently published memoir, A Lucky Child: A Memoir of Surviving Auschwitz, he gives his perspective – as a child – on life in the camps, and shows how his past has informed his understanding of the modern day war crimes he sees as a judge. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear the moving and incredible story of an epic journey through 20th century history. With Front Row’s Kirsty Lang.
