Please note that we do not tour with a technician. An experienced member of the company will assist the in-house technical staff with the lighting and sound set-up.

Stage Area

6 x 6 metres minumum

Ideally there should be a Black Drape US and Side masking with entrances to create a black box effect.

Stage Surface

Smooth, even wooden floor or professional lino dance mat.

Timings on day of performance

Get-in: 4 hours

Get-out: 1 hour (max)

Performance time: 2 x 45 minutes with 15 minute interval.

Lighting

Please refer to stage plan for stage layout. Lights should be rigged and roughly focused by the time the company arrive.

Our basic lighting requirements are:

DANCE AREA

Red, Amber, Blue and washes.

2 x Wide Profile OW Soft Gobo Wash, Half Stage Leaf Break

Open-white face-light light from front.

Side Booms:

Heads: 2 x parkans, wide focus, warm gel.

Shins: 2 x profiles, wide focus off stage floor, cold gel.

MUSIC AREA

3 x colour washes (Red, Amber and Blue).

White face-light from front.

Score-reading light from above.

BACK CURTAIN

3 x Par Narrow L106 Red Staight up scimming Black Drape Floor Stand.

Profile Wide L201 Cold On Black Drape, Soft, Opposite scim, Cloud Gobo (provided).

Sound Requirements (performances in the UK)

1 x quality grand piano / quality upright piano / quality full size digital piano with weighted keys and sustain pedal (in order of preference). If no piano is available we can provide a good quality digital piano.

Adjustable piano stool.

A good quality PA system is required. Please click here to view our PA specifications.

Sound Requirements (performances outside the UK)

As above, but in addition we will require a double bass and a drum kit (if performing with a drummer) as it is not possible to transport these instruments by air. We will also require 1 music stand per musician.

Backstage

Minimum of 2 clean, private, warm dressing rooms with hanging rails and mirrors. Dressing rooms should be within easy reach of the stage to allow for quick changes during the performance.

Rider

Tea and coffee-making facilities and water in dressing rooms.

Light meal 1.5 hours prior to performance.
